Not Sweden's weekend in Barcelona

Monday, 26 September 2016 10:06

2Rolf Goran Bengtsson ClariLast weekend it was time for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, but the Swedish team had no luck. Rolf competed with Clarimo Ask and delivered two fantastic rounds with an unlucky fault in both rounds. But with Sweden ending the first round on a total of 30 faults they didn't qualify for the second round and had to start in the Challenge Cup instead, where they ended second last with 26 faults. This means that Sweden can't participate in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup division 1 next year and will have to go back to division 2.

Paris was also competing in Barcelona and delivered a beautiful clear round on Friday ending just outside the ribbons.

A good weekend for Luisa Bahrs in Vienna

Monday, 19 September 2016 10:14

bk logotypeOur German student Luisa Bahrs was also in Vienna last weekend where she competed in the CSI2* Silver Tour riding Edeka's la Vue and Edeka's Catyana.

Luisa rode very well to guide both horses through Thursday’s 1.25 class on a clean sheet. Edeka's la Vue was also clear in Friday’s and Sunday’s 1.30 classes, while Edeka's Catyana did two great rounds but finished with four and eight faults.

Well done Luisa!

Casall Ask and Unita Ask super in Vienna

Monday, 19 September 2016 06:47

rolf viennaIt was an exciting leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Vienna, with Rolf and Casall Ask ending 10th in the Grand Prix. The two of them were clear in both rounds and were good on their way in the jump-off but after a misunderstanding in the end of the course Rolf made a circle and had to ad 6 faults (2 time penalties) to the score.

Rolf is still in the lead of the overall standing though and that with only one leg to go!

Unita Ask made her first show after her break and did it in a fantastic way. She was clear and ended 10th in Saturday's 1,50 class and in the Global Champions League she was clear in the first round and had an unfortunate fault in the second round. Rolf's teammate Kamal Bahamdan didn't had the luck on his side though, so the 'Paris Jets' ended in 8th position.

rome lIt is only two legs left of this year's Longines Global Champions Tour season and Rolf has now taken over the overall lead. Rolf has 272 points and is five points ahead of Edwina Tops-Alexander.

The reason why Rolf taken over the lead is that he ended 5th in the LGCT Grand Prix in Rome on Sunday. Rolf and Casall Ask did three beautiful clear rounds and once again they got a top placement!

Good results from Nadja and Anne-Charlotte in Valkenswaard

Monday, 08 August 2016 07:26

nadja annecharlotte valkenswaardNadja and Anne-Charlotte have both competed in the CSI1* classes in Valkenswaard this weekend with good results.

Nadja competed Chicago 131 and Charity 41 in the 1.35 classes and was placed in five of six possible rounds. Sunday Nadja and Charity closed off the weekend with a super third place in the 1.35 final while Chicago was placed as number eight in the same class.

Anne-Charlotte rode Atreju 102 in one 1.10 class and two 1.15 classes while Picobello Judarco did one 1.20 class as well as two 1.25 classes. Both horses did one round each in the huge grass arena. Despite a few poles down, the opportunity to compete at a big venue like Valkenswaard was an important experience and both horses brought ribbons home.

Congratulations and well done!

New rider at Stall Bengtsson and Kristoffersen

Monday, 08 August 2016 07:10

bk logotypeWith Andreas Erni leaving Stall Bengtsson and Kristoffersen, our team has been looking for a rider to replace him. We have now been lucky to find a rider that we think will be a great addition to our team and we look forward to welcoming him to Breitenburg.

We have received a lot of e-mails and phone calls regarding the position and we want to thank everyone for their interest.

Rolf and Casall Ask are unbelievable and win the LGCT Grand Prix in Valkenswaard

Sunday, 07 August 2016 06:12

rolf casall valkenswaardWith three perfect clear rounds in Valkenswaard, Rolf and Casall Ask secured their second LGCT Grand Prix win of the 2016-season and made a jump on the overall ranking where Rolf currently holds the runner-up position. Rolf and Casall Ask is by far the most consistent combination competing at the LGCT-circuit and we are very happy to see that Casall Ask still enjoys his work so much. He was very proud when the blankets were handed out for the price giving.

With 25 points up to Edwina Tops-Alexander who is still in the lead of the overall ranking, Rolf and Casall Ask is ready to fight for more points in Rome in September.
